Both the handsets come support both 2G and 3G networks. The Samsung M8910 and Sony Satio is equipped to work on 2G networks with GSM bandwidths of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900Mhz. While Sony Ericsson Satio can operate on 3G networks with HSDPA bandwidths of 850, 1900 and 2100 MHz frequency range, Samsung M8910 works on HSDPA bandwidths of 900 and 2100 MHz.
Display and design
1. The Samsung M8910 as well as Sony Satio comes with an elegant design which can allure the mobile buyers at the first sight.
2. The large TFT display screens are the highlight of both the mobiles in the physical appearance. The Samsung M8910 comes with 3.1 inches large AMOLED TFT touch screen which is highly resistive.
3. It has support for 166 million colors with a high resolution of 800 by 4809 pixels. The mobile has dimensions that measure 108 by 53 by 13.8mm and weighs around 120 grams including the battery.
4. The Sony Satio comes with slightly large TFT touch screen of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 640 by 360 pixels and same color range as that of Samsung M8910.
5. It also comes with accelerometer sensor which is an added advantage. The dimensions of this handset are quite similar to Samsung M1890 which measure 112 by 55 by 13mm.
Both the mobiles come with most powerful operating system and processors that ensure easy and faster navigation to different applications and functions within. The Sony Ericsson Satio is integrated with Symbian operating system and powerful ARM Cortex 600 Mhz microprocessor with 3D graphics and HW accelerator. The Samsung M8910 comes with Samsung operating system and powerful microprocessor.
